25 Sept 2016

The past two weeks was one of the most hectic, adrenaline pumping, yet exciting part of my life. I guess for every girl, they would have their own standards of a dream wedding..

For mine, thanks to my wonder city harvest church cg friends, my sisters and daniel’s brothers, my supportive family, and of course the hilarious groom, the wedding was such a entertaining and joyous one. Many friends told us that they enjoyed themselves thoroughly, laughing through every segment of the programme. J

Thank God for helping me get through the whole wedding preparations..in which I surrendered to His hands at the start. Because I knew that I can’t..i can’t handle it by myself..my own strength, without smashing some chairs or tables. HAHA. ><

From Jan 16 to Sept 16, Dan and me went through our first “project” of organising something big together..As real as it gets, there are definitely “discussions/disagreements” along the way.. Different styles of planning, different speed..it was inevitable that we get onto each other nerves, haha..But I am thankful that we were able to make it through and grow closer to each other, with God’s grace..:)

17 Sept – our Singapore wedding, a day I will always remember..:)) the vows we made to each other, the gatecrashing when Daniel came to fetch me in Bryan’s Mercs, Daniel’s superman march in, the brothers and students in the frog suits, the pretty decorations by Phoebe, the dinner with Daniel’s singing and dancing.. It was lovely and I really felt like a princess in a fairy tale book! =DD
Dinner at Grand Banquet, Queens

With Bo Zhi at Chc Jurong West! =D

                                              we got baptised together! :)
24 Sept – our Penang wedding, where I see my cousins/relatives.. It was an emotional day for me.. During the make up and hairdo, I remember all the times our uncles and aunties took such great care of my family, when we went there..  Although we are from Singapore, supposedly richer than them because of the exchange rate, it was difficult for my parents, to raise the 4 of us up..*secretly tearing inside lol*

Often, the 6 of us will take 10 hours of coach ride to Penang, and the 4 children will be so happy, but we also notice how thrifty and how much our parents have to scrimp and save to go there..And knowing our plight, our uncles and aunties will treat us generously, telling us to study hard, to be filial to our parents when we grow up..and one day when we are successful, to come back to Malaysia and maybe give them a treat?:’)

When I saw them again yesterday, all congratulating and happy for me, I just feel so grateful..i wish I can do more for them..Hmm..One day one day in the near future! Thank you for all the great values you have taught us mum and dad, aunties and uncles..=”)..

i love penang!! <3

me and bff cindy =D

we love penang food =)

Back to a lighter note, currently blogging in Daniel’s living room.. =D.. using the orange laptop that my mum bought (and I pay back hehe) for me.. Going to start a new blog and vlog with Daniel soon, look out for updates there, so that we won’t spam everyone on fb. =D

Pray that God will bless us with a happy marriage till a ripe old age, really a happily ever after ending! :D Thank you Jesus! J
This blog started with the purpose to document down all the sweet moments, with each other and together with our loved ones.

It also serves as a reminder to us that life on Earth is short, 60+ more years max?, and we must try to live it as happily as possible. Of course, we need God in our lives to achieve that. :)
